Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and analytical Entry-Level Financial Analyst to support our Chief Capital Officer in managing banking relationships, financing activities, financial reporting, and strategic growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with preparing cash flow analyses, debt schedules, and financing reports.
  • Conduct financial research and support strategic business initiatives.
  • Identify financial trends, variances, and potential areas of concern.
  • Assist with lender and financing packages by gathering and organizing financial data.
  • Support management reporting and special financial projects.

Banking & Lending Relations

  • Assist in maintaining relationships with banks, credit unions, lenders, and capital investment partners.
  • Support financing applications, loan renewals, credit requests, and lender communications.
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and reporting requests from financial institutions.
  • Track financing opportunities, lending activities, and required follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records related to banking relationships and financing arrangements.

Systems & Data Management

  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage contacts, activities, and relationship information.
  • Use Sage Intacct to retrieve financial information and support reporting needs.
  • Create and maintain Excel-based financial reports, reconciliations, and analyses.
  • Ensure financial and lender documentation is properly organized and maintained.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support executive scheduling, meeting coordination, and project tracking.
  • Prepare professional correspondence, presentations, and meeting materials.
  • Assist with document management, reporting deadlines, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects involving finance, accounting, and operations teams.

Accounting Support

  • Provide assistance during month-end, year-end, audit, and reporting cycles.
  • Support reconciliations, account analysis, and financial record maintenance.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable documentation when needed.
  • Help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in finance, banking, accounting, lending, or financial analysis.
  • Strong interest in commercial banking, lending, capital markets, or corporate finance.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Internship or professional experience with:
    • Commercial banks
    • Credit unions
    • Lending institutions
    • Investment firms
    • Financial services organizations
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct.
  • Experience reviewing financial statements and financial reports.
  • CRM database experience.
